As an ex-employee, people should know that they pay the staff to brag about how great the place is on here.

the truth, perhaps what some of you parents would like to hear about what really goes on here. i'm a professional who rented an apt. here, and i can tell you (warn you)check it out before you ever let your kids live here...hidden behind all the glitz and newness that i have experienced here is scary stuff! the hillside is falling, there are broken bottles everywhere, strange people who don't reside here are urinating anywhere, anytime...there are pit-bulls and other not-allowed breeds of animals here. maintenance is a joke, management is unavailable, all safety rules are violated regularly, there is plenty of vandalism, and basically it is being run by other students...no, there is NO ONE watching over your kids' safety! THERE IS NO SECURITY, AND NO CONTROL. THIS IS A MONEY MAKER AT EVERYONES KIDS EXPENSE...BE CAREFUL

Granted move-in was a little hectic as this was the first time they had had tenants (new apartments) things got gradually better.
After that brief stint of hassle everything has turned around. Seems they figured out how to run a big apartment complex and everything now is terrific.

Pros:
-ALLOW PETS (even though the price is on the steep side - 450 initially and 25 per month, but worth it)
-Great layout and appliances (w/ W/D)
-I was able to create my own Comcast account and get an HD-DVR with the sport package and basically manage my account by myself, allowing them to not worry about it and giving me control of what I wanted
-Nice clubhouse with plenty of amenities (MAC and Windows computers in the clubhouse as well, a nice plus)
-Plenty of parking with street lamps lighting the parking lot
-Individual building dumpsters very close (A big plus over The District, where I previously lived where everyone used on dumpster and you had to drive your trash to it)
-Great package pick-up program, they actually call your cell to let you know you have a package and you pick it up whenever you can

Cons:
-Clubhouse hours are a little lacking, some days the gym and clubhouse close at 7PM

Overall I'm very happy to be renting from them. I will be staying here next year to finish up my W.V.U. career. Give them a call, they are giving away a bunch of stuff (Vespa scooters) and the staff is more than helpful.
